Hi,
I have ASUS Rampage IV Extreme, BIOS v4901 (05/14/2014), Windows 8 64-bit, using UEFI boot.
AFAIK, it should have Atheros Bluetooth 2.1 on board. It does have BT cap on back panel and BT is enabled in BIOS.
However, no software could find bluetooth. There is no unknown (and no BT devices) visible in device manager. BluetoothDriverInstaller does not see anything. Installing BT drivers from ASUS web-site ('Atheros Bluetooth Driver V8.0.0.202 for Windows 32/64bit 8.(WHQL)') hangs/freezes entire system - mouse/keyboard is ignored, no HDD activity, no network activity, nothing. Installing Atheros BT drivers from 3rd party sites (Atheros Bluetooth Driver V8.0.1.318) hangs too.
Any ideas?
